Thanks. Glad it helps. I've learned so much on this forum, I'm just trying to return the favor.

Will update the running expenses when I get home. Looks like it will be without the travel trailer.

That depends on how a person has their User CP set up. This is only page 4 for me because I have the max number of posts allowed per page, instead of the default selection.

That said, I've been updating your first post whenever you've posted an update. The last time I saw one was your June 18 update.

I'd be happy to edit the post and add the new update too. Do you want me to use todays date?

Stewart

Stewart,

I have running totals in three places now: post 1 (originally 11 Apr-7 May), post 93 (13 May-7 Jun), and post 117 (18 Jun-5 Jul). If you could compile them that would be a help.

Thanks,
Eric

Just got home from my 2400 mile, 15 day trip up to Indiana. Only a couple of small problems have cropped up. One is the front A/C started acting up just today. Will investigate blend door issues and fixes. Also, Torque Pro, or at least the tablet, occasionally loses communication with the OBDII. Just have to initiate another Bluetooth pairing and all is fixed. Highest EOT recorded was 213*F. Highest TFT was 168*F today in stop and go traffic through Birmingham with an OAT of 97*. So far so good! This beast just eats up the miles.

Yes they do. I just finished up a round trip to Birmingham of ~2000 miles myself. Travel in complete comfort in these old girls when everything is working.

Ah, you must have edited post 93 and 117 after I saw them originally posted, and added more info. I saw them when you first posted the information, adding that original info to the 1st post in the thread, not realizing you went back and added more stuff to those two posts.

Send me a PM with all the updates in order, and I'll cut and paste them to the 1st post.

Stewart

Stewart,

PM sent. I guess you could also delete posts 93 and 117 to cut down on confusion?

Thank you,
Eric

Did the OD wire chafing fix today. No sign of chafing, but did wrap it well with electrical tape for good measure.

Also swapped the multifunction turn signal switch I got from mecdac in hopes of fixing my front washer issues . No such luck. In typical fashion, I did manage to break off some wire connector security tabs on one of the plugs.

What is your wiper problem? Helped another member here fix his not that long ago. Posted all the wiring diagrams and troubleshooting steps you will need.

I've read through that thread before. Problem is I'm extra stupid when it comes to electrical. That whole thread was just Greek to me.

Front washer doesn't spray. Rear works. Turn signal switch didn't fix it. I was hoping, as said before...I'm electrically challenged.

OK, thanks to Nicmike's thread reference I've got the washer issue figured out. Swapped relays 206 and 209. Front washer works now and rear doesn't. Bad relay...

Took off the rusted and weathered wiper arms to repaint them.
Sand blasted the outside parts that were rusted and/or severely weathered.
A couple coats of primer and paint and they should be good for another 170,000 miles.
