What have you done to your truck today?
Interesting, I am pretty sure mine has the stop pin. When I went into the door yesterday to fix it, I was getting what sounded like a "click" a relay would make. When I took the bolts out of the motor, I had to pry it off the regulator it was stuck that tight. After test running the motor when I reinstalled it, I had no problem getting it to engage the regulator at which time it ran the window up and down just fine.
Just got back from four days of camping at Long Beach, WA. Our faithful old truck hauled our pickup camper (sorry, no pic) and towed our '48 ****** CJ-2A. If you've never been to Washington's Long Beach peninsula, you're missing out because you can drive on most of the beach. Here's some homeless beach bum, somehow wearing my clothes, posing at our lunch stop:
Except for a few spots, the beach is considered a state highway. You'll need four-wheel drive, but that doesn't stop a few car drivers from trying. You can get a running start across the soft stuff heading onto the beach, but not so when leaving.
My wife picked up this pillow at a gift shop and was SO excited to have it for our camper. I didn't have the heart to tell her it was a '68-72 pickup, but it's still a Ford and I like it:

Wednesday I picked up a backup camera at a thrift shop. Today I installed it, and since some people on here need to see pictures, here they are:
Camera mounts just above the license plate.
This is the display, system is wireless.
Cord to the power point in the dash.
In reverse.
Close up of display in reverse.

Backup cameras are a symptom of DOT laws which make vehicles unsafe and put the rest of us using the roads at risk. Ever get in a rental and notice how you can't see a darn thing around you? Feel like you're strapped in a cocoon with the visibility of a tank with the hatches locked down? Get home to your trusty old Ford pickup or 60s car and notice the panoramic 360* unobstructed view? Thank the DOT for that, the result of these laws injure and kill people every year, and it's not while backing up. About the only legitimate use I can think of for one is facing down at the hitch for when backing up to strange trailers.
In any event, today I cut a hole in my rear bumper to mount a 7 blade RV+5 flat plug and pulled wires from front to back for trailer wiring. Thunderstorms rolled in so called it a day. Tomorrow I just need to connect the wiring at the plug and bolt it on the bumper.

The problem with a crew cab and camper shell, in fact just a crew cab, it is damn hard to figure out where the hitch ball is in relation to the trailer. With the 5th wheel it wasn't too bad, put your head in the center and you could line it right up in nothing flat.
As for limited vision, try a 1966 Mustang fastback, Shelby put windows in the GT350 quarters. As for the DOT laws, that's why I still have a 1986 truck, no ABS, no air bags, just a lot of steel and I still have a hydraulically operated brake controller.

Replaced master cylinder. Pedal sank toward the floor one time last week so it was time. New are available but none in stock at the local stores so unfortunately went rebuilt as I wanted to do this before towing to the Ford show next week. I also finally put on the new front brake hoses that have been sitting on my shelf since last year. May as well since I had to bleed it anyway. Fought two fitting rusted to the lines but freed them, new clips on the brake hoses. Didn't feel like making new hard lines this weekend but I'll probably do that eventually.
Annoying the top sealing surface has a few imperfections and they don't machine or line sand the sealing surface for the cap. Cheap junk. Judging by the cap on the old master cylinder it was original or at least a Ford part. I may keep it and rebuild it, I will at least sand blast and paint (or maybe plate) the original cap and use that one with the new gasket. I also blasted and painted the booster, since it was easy access.
