We are seeing sun right now, but the radar is showing another system coming in in the next couple of hours. We have been getting a convection going here at the end of the valley giving some spots over 7" of rain while others get less than an inch and just 10 miles apart.

The Sac is running VERY high right now and we are concerned about snow melt.

I've also seen several slides and localized flooding in the 8 counties that make up the district that I work in, and am wondering when my number will come up for slide response.

This is what happens when California talks about piping water from Washington.

Nest time William Shatner or someone else talks about that idea just remember
how the state of Washington feels about people wanting her water and what she does
when that idea comes up.

All joking aside, Stay Safe.

But, winter dredging let's you be the first to find the new gold right after a flood. Before they limited dredging, you could dredge in the cold of winter and even at flood stage.

Rained here all day yesterday and some this morning. Got my HPOP via UPS so I tossed it in when I saw a bit of sun. Got to the HPOP cover and the oil cooler being installed before it started raining again

Build a pair of these adapters and pickup 2 Harbor Frieght 2000lb stands. Fabricate the 2 stands so the support legs interlock & slide together. The only other thing I'd consider is a worm drive gearbox to rotate the assembly.
I vaguely remember seeing plans somewhere but can't remember. I think Anthony shows his stand in one of his videos but good luck finding it. If I come across anything I'll let you know.

Just Google " worm drive reduction gearbox" under the Shopping tab and you'll find all kinds for sale.
