Ranger PVH Fix.....Pics!
Here are pics on how to remove the "Metal" piece from the PVH system on 98, 99, and some 2000 Rangers.
Some may have seen this already. I am just adding some more pics for those who haven't seen it. I tried this so I just documented the steps.
Insert two screw drivers in the small slots on the hub plastic cap and give it a twist. This is probably the most difficult part since these haven't been moved in years.
This shows the hub with the cover sat to the side. You are looking at the rubber seal.
Remove all the internal parts.
The two white pieces will disconnect with a spring inside.
One white piece has a small metal piece in it.
The metal piece in held in place by glue. Pry the glue from the metal piece with a knife or small screwdriver and remove the metal piece.
Put everything back into place and you are finished!
Many people have used this method to make their Ranger permantely engaged.
