360 oil bath air cleaner

Question 360 oil bath air cleaner
I have a 76 High Boy with a 360.It has an oilbath air cleaner.Can these be swapped out,should I keep it.

I would swap it out, unless you live in a desert. Either go with an OEM style enclosed air cleaner or a spiffy 14" open element design.

Bullit, what do you do with all the vaccum lines that plug into the stock breather when you put on a custom chrome one?

No desert here just dirt and mud.The oil seems to make a mess, especially with sttep inclines.What do ido with the lines that are on it,can they be plugged off?

Most aftermarket air cleaners have an adaptor for the charcoal canister connector.

As for the driver's side breather, most switch to a standard breather that doesn't have a hose attachment.

Do you have other lines connected as well?

Just one that goes to the valve cover(rubber)and one flexhose (fabric with wire coil).Looks to me as it can be disconnected without to much hassle.

Looks like its just the stock 2 barrel that came ontop of the 360. I probably will sell, Im gathering up all the parts im not gonna use i figure someone is sure to be interested in them.
