I am getting ready install the horn wiring, etc. on my 46 Ford 1/2 ton pickup and am not sure what parts I need to get the horn setup. I am going to have to purchase all new parts. I can get most from Macs, but surprisingly they are not aware of the full set of parts needed. My question deals with how the setup works, and thus what parts are needed to complete it. Is there a schematic out there showing the parts and how they go together? I presume that I will need a relay to operate the horn also. Any ideas and help would be appreciated. phil w.
The set up is quite simple. From the horn there is a wire that runs up through the steering shaft to the horn button. You can get the new switch and all from Mac's. The other wire from the horn runs to the circuit breaker under the dash. No additional relays are needed.
