Hey guys,
I am in the market for a new grille. I cracked my original one today .
I really like the look of the grille on the superduty at the top of the site page beside the f-150. That is an 08 correct? Will it fit my 07? I really like the look of that one. Other than that, what are some other nice ones, factory or A/M, without breaking the bank?

I just bought a 2006 F350 that the chrome on the grill was peeling. Picked up a new aftermarket grill at a truck supply store for $75. 10 minutes to take the old one off, take the emblem off the old one and reinstall on the new one, and put the new grill on the truck. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the factory and aftermarket grill looking at the truck.
Okay so here is the grille that I want. This will fit my 2007, correct? Does anyone know where you can get this one? Is it an A/M one or is this straight from Ford?
So aldridgec, did you end up buying this grille from ford? How did you find the sturdyness? And how much did they want for it? Did you end up painting it?
Normally i would spend the extra $ to get the good one, however i want the black bars going across like the aftermarket one, not the chrome ones from Ford.
No not yet. My truck was wrecked a few weeks ago, so I am still debating. I looked at a truck with an OE chrome grille on it and it wasn't quite as flimsy as the a/m one, but it was also supported better by the correct header panel for the truck. I don't know how much of a difference that will make. My opinion is that the a/m one is still fragile, but may be worth the savings. The chrome Ford grille is $$$$. You can also get the harley grilles if you want to paint one, but they may already come painted to match the harley trucks.
I'm looking into the DIY options for mine. I'm not that informed on the older grills, do they have the bow across them like the 08& up do? Hardest thing about DIY I see for mine is getting them all bowed perfectly. Either that or getting the FX4 or Harley grille, I like the look of all the smaller horizontal bars and gloss black, I dont like the big huge bars with big huge gaps mine has now... havent looked into how much the factory FX4 grille would be though but i figure $$$.
I am going to put on an OEM grill on my .03 but airbrush it like stainless to take the chrome edge off. I might airbrush the SUPER DUTY logo on the top as well, dunno yet.
