You may have rust in the exhaust. Perhaps moisture and/or unburned oil collected in the pipe, and when you run it hard, some of that goo along with the rust blow out in a brown cloud.
I'd check the pipe, make sure it's solid, and check the coolant, make sure no leaks, check the plugs, make sure no coolant where it shouldn't be.
Plugs are a nice light brown. Ya its a two stroke. When I start it for the first time of the day it clouds up pretty good until it moves and everything gets freed up. I just had the engine out for a rebuild.
