Newbie Intro!

I'm going to do my intro here, since this is the forum I've been lurking around in the most. It seems a bit odd to me to be doing this, I've been researching here for several months and already feel like I know everyone here.

Anyway, I'm in the market for a 99.5-02 F350 7.3L 4x4 CC LB 6sp to haul a truck camper (in the market for that, too) and boat/Jeep. And to make things worse, I'd really like the Lariat trim level. Yeah I know, keep dreaming!

Big thanks to all here for the excellent info, and I'm sure once I manage to locate the new ride I'll be spending even more time here (what work?) and big $$$ on PMS!

Intended [initial] mods:
6637, 4" exhaust, gauges, DP Tuner (yeah, baby!)

Slainte!
Jim

Welcome aboard. Here's one to check out. It's an auto but a BTS Tranny (probably the best in the market). CC LB Lariat and in your backyard.

Welcome to FTE! Wow that truck that Chris posted up would be perfect for you already has the best tranny in the market so it will never go down and already has the basic mods if it was taken care of and if it has a good name brand chip in it then your set! I owe that much on my truck with the same miles and without a BTS transmission I would jump on it for 12K.

I asked the wife the other night if she wanted her own truck since I found that one. Got the rolling eyes from her... so I guess that's a no.
