I need to change a bulb in one of my roof marker lights. I have looked in Haynes manual and no mention. Do I take off the headliner and change from inside the truck, or do I remove the light lens on outside of the truck. I looked on the outside and tried to remove it, but it was on very tight. Any help would be appreciated.
It is an 86 F250 4x4. Yes, factory lights. I tried to remove
the lens assembly, but it is on tight. I didn't want to break
the seal and cause a leak and then find out that it is odd and
needed to be changed from within. Granted, that seems odd, but
I have learned through the years that just because I think
something is odd, doesn't mean that the designers felt the same way. Thanks for any info.

I'll see if I can find a truck here and take look
for myself before send any advise.

The end result I've found out is.
You have to get at from the inside.
Sorry, Good Luck !
Sorry for the long delay in replying. Thanks for the information. It will save me a lot of time and heartache. It would have been a pain to pull the light off the roof and caused a leak. Your help is greatly appreciated.
