2003 Excursion Radio Question Re:dvd
I Just Purchased A 2003 Excursion With A Factory Dvd But An Aftermarket Radio. The Dvd Does Not Play, It Just Lights Up, Flashes The Screen And Shuts Off. I Know The Radio Is Part Of The System And Would Like To Reinstall A Stock Radio. Would Anyone Know The Model Number To The Radio That Would Belong In This Truck? Any Idea If The Radio Not Being Connected Would Cause The Dvd To Act The Way It Is?

It can work if the installer knows what he is doing. I have a Pioneer AVIC-D3 nav system in the dash and it works with the factory DVD player. Look for a local shop that has some good installers. Not Circuit City or Best Buy.
