I got to look under the hood of a truck like mine (2001 F250 CC 2wd) today. We found some differences. The main one being my larger turbo exhaust with what looks like an air fitting welded to it about 2 inches from the where it bolts to the turbo. The air intake on the driver side has been hogged out and the chip tunner has been removed(notch has been cut into the plastic housing)........Any ideas on the air fitting?????????

Previous connection for pyro guage?

 

Yeah, some exhausts came with a bung welded in the down pipe to screw a pyro in, but that's post turbo. Not the best place for it. Much better in a manifold or up-pipe. I'm not sure what you mean by the intake being "hogged out". Do you mean a hole cut into the front behind the grill? If so, that's called the "ZooDad Mod".
