Compression question

I just checked my compression on my 78 f150 with 351 m the book says 75% of hights cyl but what should the best compression be on a stock 351 m mine was 1-130 2-126 3-130 4-130-5-133 6-123 7-120 8-134 dry and set over night I put some oil in them and it read 1-145 2-130 3-135 4-133 5-135 6-134 7-121 8-135 all done with a new screw in gauge # 2 plug had a small amount of oil on it verry small and so did # 6 all tips were white and no shoot at all ect for 2 but just could berrley see it under a light any info will help engine I was told had 78,000 on it when i pulled itan installed it but not sure thank you

Compression question

The lowest is 120 and the highest is 145 which is 82%. No problem here except they all seem low to me. Did you prop the Carb open? That will often raise the readings. The plugs are OK.
