Gas Tank Questions???

I don't know where else to post this question but anyway, what's the best way to check the condition inside of a gas tank. I,m just about finished putting together a truck that has sat for a long time and I don't want to fill up a tank that is full of who knows what. I was going to get a new one but can't afford the $150 right now.

Gas Tank Questions???

You might use a gas tank "sealer" from J.C. Whitney or Eastwood. Throw some cleaner and a chain in there and rattle it around a while, dry it out good and put in the sealer. Keep turning the tank to coat all sides.
