Anyone happen to know what it is? My pipes are sooty so I was going to call the parts dept before I took my truck in, just curious if they had one in stock.

Just had mine replaced last week. FRom the Invoice.

DPF 7C3Z 5H221
install kit 7C3Z 5H247

If your Tail pipe is sooty you DPf IS bad,,Yir truck will run much better with a new DPF

The invoice cost was 1037.00 not including installation cost

DPF part#

I have 18K on my F350 DRW truck and have had new cat converters on it 2 DPF's and a new turbo. It is at Ford right now getting a new radiator DPF sensors and cracked heat shield replaced on the turbo.

Whoa. I can see it now. These DPF's are going to be a real problem. $1,000 plus labor to change it? I hope that the DPF can one day be deleted from these trucks.

Under warranty I hope.. Oh Yea..The truck only had 4800 miles on it.The cost with labor would no doubt be around 1300+ $.We are looking at the Ford Extended Warranty.I think the DPF is a weak link in these new motors.
