You might also dig out your local yellow pages and check out and clutch and brake outfit, sometimes they can get parts or have parts.
We have several members here who are a wealth of info on the larger trucks. I'm sure they will be along shortly and say hello.
I have just purchased a 1954 Ford F-700 fire truck and need some dimenssions. i am interested in height of cab, length and wheel base.
Thanks.
P.S> Also, where do I start looking for parts like brake cyl, starters, etc.
Post all the numbers from your VIN plate. That will determine what you have. The plate will be attached on the inside of the glove box door, or the left windshield pillar, visible when left door is opened.

Jim, I just purchsed a 1954 F-500 fire truck. I will tell you all of the cab parts, except for the finders, are the same as the F 100 from '53 thru '55. Danny
