coolant tank - oilly film like substance?
My truck has about 6200 mi on it and is just really my weekend truck. Pulled trailer not to long ago (uhaul 6x12 pretty shure we overloaded it) but any way when we got back from the 600mi round trip i checked my engine and noticed the coolant tank had this white looking film on the inside. Checked my oil fill cap and no white residue and checked dipstick and no white residue, any ideas? thanx

has your tranny fluid changed at all? perhaps you have a small leak in your tranny cooler..... which is leaking into your radiator. if you hauled a lot of weight, i would think it would be very possible.
