volare in a F1

Has anyone done a Volare/aspen front suspension in a F1? Any problems? I have a 49 panel with a 302 and am worried about
the steering box clearing. Ted

i put a volare in my 50 f1 panel, with a 400... motor sits 1.5" off to the right, i used stock manifolds, and everything fits...

volare in a F1

I have a Volare in my F1. The frame has to be notched along the top of the frame rail about an inch deep by about five inches. I boxed that area to maintain strength. I can email you some pictures if you need them.

why dont you check out the aerostar thread.https://www.ford-trucks.com/dcforum/48_60/2419.html. it looks like it will work great. and it has rack and pinion verses a steering box. besides that it is all ford!
