Mustang 5.0 shorties fit very well. I have read late 60s Fairlane and Cougar headers fit as well. There are others that fit as well.

+1 on the shorties. I just have my motor hanging in space and the shorties clear everything well. I am shifting the motor 1 inch to the passenger side and this helps. My motor is going to be low, fan center 11 inches up from the front crossmember. This actually fits perfect with my mark vii donor radiator and the fan shroud is even offset 1 inch the right direction as well. It also looks like I will not need an oil filter adapter as well. I would suggest shifting everything to the pass side 1 inch even with the compact 302. I am using a midfifty tranny crossmember that allready has the 1 inch offset built in.
