Dashboard Squeek

Has Anyone Been Able To Pin Point What Is Squeeking In The Front Dash Area Of These Excursions. I Had A 2001 Ex Limited And Now I Have A 2005 Ex Limited, Same Exact Noise. I Sounds Like Two Plasic Pieces Rubbing Against Each Other.

yup, annoying as hell. I isolated mine to the little square area right up next to the windshield on the dash, in front of the drivers seat. If I park a little stuffed animal on it, it isn't as bad. Sometimes, nothing at all. Anybody else?

Anyone squirted it with Mobil spray lube? Cover the glass. Smell should go away after a day.

My 01 X had a screw loose holding one of the components in the dash. The dealer tightened it and the squeek stopped....sorry can't tell you which one. JOHN
