351w question for my 54 F100
Can anyone tell me if a 351 Windsor should have the same bell housing bolt pattern as my 302? I think they should both be 6 bolts. The p.o. had stuck a 302 in my 54 and appeared to use the original 3 speed on the tree type tranny. Due to our great economic boon we're having here in Colo. I'm thinking of lowering my ambitions and just getting the truck to run so I can drive it a bit, thought I would stick with the old three speed if the windsor would fit. Thanx in advance!
