where to get a cheap carb
I am wondering where the best place I might be able to find a cheap or even used carbouretor. I ask this becuase I have a crown vic that will be used in a demolition derby. As of right now, the CFI system is not working correctly. So, I am thinking of replacing it with a regular carburetor. Ant help is appreciated.

check the junkyard, there are probably dozens of 302's out there with not only the carb, but the whole intake system on them, if you're doin' the demo thing, its probably worth it to buy the car for parts, that way you have an easy source of repair parts between rounds, the demo cars from years past are sometimes sitting there, ready to be picked apart... its a gold mine for the derby guys.
