I've been looking endlessly for either a replacement steering setup for my truck. I looked far and wide and finally bought a 1979 F250 truck with power steering. I need to know if I will be able to take the front end off of that truck and put it on mine, or if I can take the whole steering setup off and put that on my truck?
I need help!!!!! Mud Racing season is coming up!!!!!!!HELP HELP

 

You can take that front end and directly bolt it under your 75 F250 4x4. Just make sure the gears are the same front and rear if you want to use the 4 wheel drive and not break anything. The steering setup will also bolt into your 75 with little mods. The front driveshaft from your 75 will work with the front end out of the 79. You have all the parts now with that 79 parts truck so it shouldn't be too hard, Good luck

I totally APPRECIATE your help. Hopefully I can get the '79 under my '75, I am sick and tired of the steering assist, what was with FORD when they installed that into the MIGHTY FORD trucks we all know and love? Anyways, If I come up with any problems, I'll be sure and ask.......thanks again....
