Am I missing something?

I was trying to give my old T-98 tranny away a couple of days ago and then just today I ran across ebay item: 7999720494. Sure its got a PTO and transfer case and its cleaned up, but $1200? What am I missing here? I can get a PTO for mine on ebay item #: 7998939059 for $50. I know they are worth something, but didn't figure it was worth that much.

I have two of these - (including the one I will use) and I would sell both of them at that price.

Did you notice there aren't any bids. I had one I tried selling for $150.00 and it did not sell.

yeah I noticed there were no bids, I was just shocked at the asking price. I'd sell mine for that price too

Even though the guy is asking a lot for the tranny, it only takes one person to bid who doesn't know what its worth but needs it bad enough to pay the price. I'd say its worth the $2.00 ebay fees. I've seen some stuff going for ridiculous prices.
