I have a 1960 F250 that I am parting out. I have a guy that wants to buy the transmission, but Im not sure what it's worth. I want to be fair to both parties. The only one I could find was on Ebay for like $800 and it didn't have the PTO. But we all know how prices can be on there.

You found one that actually sold for $800? If it's just an asking price, that information is worth less than nothing.
I've tried to give them away around here and they end up in the scrap iron. If you can get $100 for it, take the money and run.

 

I just looked again at the completed listings. One sold for $375 without the PTO and one sold for $599 with the PTO.

 

Wow, I better quite throwing them in the scrap. Were those sold ones shipped or local pick up only?
