I have a 1911 Ford Truck. We figured this out by getting the serial # from the motor. We are having trouble figuring out what body style it is. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Not sure where you might go to read this so here goes:
Most Ford trucks back then were sold as cab/chassis and any box/bed was aftermarket. You might check out earlyfordV8.org or fordbarn.com etc. for more info.
You also might find some pics at carnut.com
For parts for T's and A's contact Snyder Antique Auto Parts, OH - they're great people.
Like another member mentioned go to the Model "T" Forum site and you will get quite a lot of info on your 1911. I just aquired a 1920 T Pickup, about 3-4 weeks ago, and found out it was not a factory built one.
I made mention regarding the serial number, and was told that most of the "T"s that exist today were made up of parts of others before them. So the engine serial could or could not be the correct engine that came with this vehicle. You will get a lot of info there and the people on that forum are only to glad to share their experience with you. Here is the web address, and good luck and enjoy.
