Anybody done custom (more supportive) front seats?
Hi Everyone;
I have an EB 2000 Expy with the Leather heated front seats. From day one, I must admit that the seats have been severely lacking in my opinion. Not only is the lumbar support in the wrong spot, but the seat has basically no lateral support whatsoever and is basically uncomfortable for me.
I'm now looking at what my options are. Has anybody swapped out the original front seats for aftermarket units of any kind? Are Navigator seats any better? I was hoping to find something that would bolt up to the original power track/adjutment mechanism rather than changing everything from the floor up.
Anybody done this? Anybody want to share thoughts/experinces? Putting in Mustang Cobra seats was my original thought...

I did some research on this very subject a couple of years ago. I looked into replacing my drivers seat with a RECARO seat. They make a bracket which allows the use of the stock power base and mechanism with one of their seats. However, after pricing the seat and bracket out at about $850, I decided to hold off to think it over. I'm still thinking to this day...
