I have a NP-205 I got from an 79 Bronco.. I'd like to use it behind my NP-208 Xfer case which is currently in my Bronco... Maybe even hack up the NP208 and get rid of the front output all together ... hehe..
I could be wrong here because I'm not at all familiar with the 208's but I don't think you can do it in a married fasion. I'm sure you could use a divorced setup like the old F250's and have a small driveshaft between the 208 and 205 but that makes for a SHORT rear driveshaft on a Bronco. Too short. Look into picking up a 203 for your doubler. The gear box off the front unbolts and can be mounted to the 205 with the proper kit (see www.stazworks.com). Then you've got a darn near bullet proof setup with no chains to stretch or break.
