Hey everyone, I just purchased a 89' SuperDuty 7.3 and was wondering if anyone has ever thought of putting dual alternators on their engine and if so how you went about it. I was thinking of mounting a second alternator in the place where the A/C compressor usually sits and running the belt off of the power steering pumps dual pulley. Or running a belt the same way that it would be run as if the A/C compressor was in place. I guess I am just looking for some input on the idea, I am sure I can male it work but wanna hear what everyone thinks. Thanks alot,
What you trying to run?
I saw a post about that before, but I do not remember when.
I have electric everything, I am thinking more along the lines of extra battery or two with isolater for starting batteries.
Down here in WV it gets to warm in the summer to lose the AC.
