Question 351w aftermarket intake/spacer available for EFI?

Is there any kind of aftermarket intake available for the 351w, or an intake manifold spacer (not a TB spacer) for the stock manifold? This is for a fuel injected engine.

Edelbrock makes an aftermarket truck intake . its an upper and lower manifold for about $599 last time i checked. Great intake though lots of people that have it love it.
As for the spacer check out summit i believe they have one but its around $60 . What you wanting the spacer for?

Someone told me that a spacer would give me a horse or two in the low end (any truth to that?)

On that edelbrock, would I have to convert to MAF to use it? I just looked it up on their site, the power gains on their curve look nice.

I have a catback on the exhuast right now. Should I get some headers before increasing my air intake?

yes, get some headers first. I will say not to skimp to much in this area, because you truely get what you pay for and cheap headers cause major headaches. Gibson, Jba and bassini all are great. you may gain a little with the spacer but not what you would feel . and that intake will run on your current system no problem.

its late, but the theory on it is that the longer the runners are the more low end power you get. Thats why the truck and car manifolds are different.

Right, for awhile there mustang guys were using the Truck efi lower and the edelbrock performer upper to get the longer runners for better low end.

I doubt you will get much power from the spacer, you would get more benefit from the spacer if you were wanting to run taller valve covers that will clear rockers that otherwise would not work under stock valve covers.
