Angry 1988 Bronco II

I have a 1988 Bronco II that starts and runs great. It has a rebuilt 2.9 V6 with @ 30K miles. The problem is when you start it and run it around the block and shut if off, it doesn't start, just turns over.....I changed the distributor coil and the throttle sensor yesterday.....runs a lot smoother....but when i shut it off....wait a few minutes and try to start it.......doesn't start....just turns over.............is it flooding? is there a fuel sensor??

please help

Sounds like the ignition module might be going open when it gets hot. Try cooling it down with a wet rag & see if it will start.

Have you checked for spark when this happens, also pull a few plugs and see if they are soaked with gas. A common source for exccess gas is a leaking fuel pressure regulator, pull the vacuum line off after you have run it for a few mintues, gas in the line means its bad.
