Hi Guys,
As I get my '72 F350 ready to go this Spring/Summer, one of the things I'll be doing is a complete Lube Job.
I want to buy a nice Grease Gun to use for the Truck, and around my Farm.
I usually borrow a neighbors'.
I'd LOVE to get a nice battery operated type, but a manual one would be okay, too.
What are some quality Grease Guns that you guys would recommend - that aren't Crazy expensive?
Thanks.
I've always used a manual because it normally only once a year thing. I like to know when pressure is building in a fitting. As far as lever or squeeze, the smaller squeeze operated is more convenient unless you have the fitting that clamps to the zerk to hold it on. Over pressuring a seal will blow it out then you have more work to do. Now my neighbors with farm equipment and/or heavy equipment use the battery operated grease guns. It make it quick since all they do is pull the trigger.
