Has anyone purchased and ran a set of Flotek 180cc cylinder heads? I have a stock 302 E7 engine and wanna pump up the power. I'm using a mild hydraulic roller cam and a Edelbrock dual plane RPM intake. It'll see a lot of street use and weekend off roading use. And if I buy the heads, what should I have done to them? I could probably cheap out for GT40 heads, but it's a gamble I don't wanna take. Forgot to mention this. I'll be using matching valve springs recommended for my cam, will use good valve seals and perform a valve job. The AFRs are out of my budget. I could always upgrade them later.

Opinions on Flotek heads seem to be along the lines of "you get what you pay for." If you can afford the extra $206 per head (Summit Racing prices), look at the AFR Enforcer heads. They flow better and have the same quality parts that are used in the Renegade heads.
I don't know the right answer, but when I was shopping for head, I elected to go with the AFR Renegade. I would agree with what @rwfid stated, you get what you pay for.
If you have the skills but no money, I suspect you could buy those head, do a valve grind and some mild porting. You'll probably have a good set of heads. I have seen other YouTube videos and there are some people mention they would never put on an aftermarket head without going through them. It's common that none of them are built with any consistency and it's better to go through the brand new head vs installing the heads only to prove you should go through them.
I am pretty certain, I will be going through mine before I install them. If I am going to be mad as someone, it will be me.

Definitely will go through them first. I always inspect my parts before installing them. Never know what you'll see
