I have a laptop computer with Windows XP Home and the XP Professional Office Suite. I have noticed that when typing in an e-mail document (Outlook), a post or a letter (Word) there are times when the cursor will move to a previous line of type completely on it's own. I believe some key triggers this occurance but I have not been able to narrow it down. Is there some default setting that can cause a key to make the cursor move? Any ideas?
Possibly but I don't think so! I have been trying to be more aware of circumstances around when it occurs. I tell you it is annoying - typing along and all of a sudden you are typing letters in the middle of a sentence 3 lines before!
Mine does exactly the same. I disabled the mouse pad, just incase that was doing it, and it still does it. Also, from time to time, a web page will move up or down, also without touching anything.
Hey guys....I would recommend cleaning your keyboards....that is, if your laptops aren't less than 3 months old. Sticky keys cause some weird stuff to happen sometimes.....
