Thanks for posting this. Nice flat torque curve for the 7.3. ed
The 6.8 one isn't real, though the Ford one is unknown origin as well. I'm more apt to believe the Ford one though and assuming it is real, the real 6.8 would be similar.

Motortrend, Autoweek, Hot Rod Network, you'll find they all have articles from 2019 - 2020 with that graphic. My money is it was released by Ford but I can't readily find that source. Might be something they just put out in their marketing channels, I don't know.
Comparing the lines in these charts is misleading. The aspect ratio is way off between the two. If I condense the second chart to get it close to the same ratio as the top chart, the lines look more similar.
This is disappointing. I searched for the source of the chart and read it again. Yep, sure enough it was a computer program to simulate a curve from the reported factory horsepower and torque.
Never thought they would not use real dyno information. So much for them reporting the true charts.
Still can not find any solid factory charts on these engines.
I have owned and driven both and just by feel and performance the charts could be close. I would rather have the real charts though.
There has not even been one Ike Gauntlet review of the 6.8 engine. YouTube does have one comparison between the 7.3 to the 6.8 that JB Reviews has on his channel.
Search continues for the factory engine dyno reporting. Maybe someone would not like us to know that information.
Sorry I couldn't figure out how to format this better but this is probably a more accurate representation than the posted chart above and is power at the wheels

Thanks for finding the extra information. I should have thought 5 Star would have some dyno stats.
It's hard to find any info on the 6.8. Everything online says cast crank but the Ford workshop manual says forged. Supposed to be stamped rockers but mine are cast; workshop manual shows the stamped design. Odd that Ford didn't name it at all. It makes it feel unloved. Bore vs stroke makes me want to think of it like the 429 to the 460 but the lack of interest makes me feel like the 351M to 400.
No explanation given for the different hemholtz resonator in the intake between the 2. I remember when Volant was testing for the 1st gen 5.7 hemi trucks, they retained the resonator for the hemi's versus the 4.7 magnums due to a dramatic loss in low end torque.
The lack of info and online conjecture make my 'tism ache.
