Spark Plugs

I have a 2015 Expedition with 173,000 miles and the V6 engine. The spark plugs have never been changed. I've heard rumors that there has been a problem that in some cases these plugs weld themselves to the head and can be a real pain to remove. Any truth to this and how hard is it to pull these plugs. The truck runs fine.
Thanks!
RC

I'm about to do this as well, everything I've read is that it's a pretty easy operation.

If you're concerned, soak them down with penetrating lubricant first for awhile before taking them out. Get the engine warm, not hot before wrenching on them.

I see there has been no followup to this. I just did spark plugs in my 2015 Navigator with 180k miles. No problems, took maybe 1.5 hours. Plugs came out easy. As far as I could tell they were the original plugs. The electrodes were really wore down and the gaps were huge. I was getting a slight miss under heavy throttle. New plugs fixed that.
