Help it make sense

Hey, guys. Haven't posted in a while, but do hop in to read occassionally. I bought a used 2019 Ranger last year. It did eventually end up with some of the same transmission issues everyone talks about; specifically it was hunting gears horribly. I hadn't done anything about it yet as I could manually shift or limit the gears and it was fine. However, when oil change time came around, I took it to my local oil change facility and let them do their thing. Since then, not a SINGLE transmission issue. JUST an oil change. Nothing else. Why in this world would a simple oil change "fix" shifting issues. It doesn't make any sense to me.

Has anyone else encountered this behavior?

I have not had this issue with mine and I bought a 19 last year as well but theoretically, it could have been over or under filled at the factory or perhaps there was was debris that got removed when the fluid and filter got replaced. I know when mine got changed, it went from shifting smooth to bucking and slipping until I changed the egr sensor and since its been the smoothest and quickest trans I've ever driven.
