Sea foam

Hey, I’m at work and picked up a few things for my truck prior to an oil change. I added sea foam to the crankcase before the oil change and after looking around a bit it seems like that wasn’t very smart. How bad have I screwed myself, and what should be done to remedy the situation?? Thanks guy. (I still have to drive it home)

You have not hurt anything. Just change the oil ( I would also change oil in HPOP reservoir) for this. Just don't do it again and you will be fine. I think some do this each oil change. You will be ok.

Agreed. You will need to change the oil again. Otherwise, you should be fine.

If you need to drive it home, take it easy.

Ok thanks guys will, definitely won’t do again, just changed the oil and all seems well. Lesson learned. I didn’t do the HPOP though. I know a little will be left in there, but 1-3 oz compared to almost 4 gallons of oil seems pretty trivial. Time will tell. Thanks for the help!
