long block swap 2020 into 2012

Putting a 2020 long block into my 2012 Super duty. Bought a 2020 long block from ford part # lc3z 6006 g which is the only long block ford offers for that year, the first issue I've run into is there is a solenoid going to oil filter housing that I am not sure what to do with. It is callout # 6c880. If anyone has run into this please let me know what you did with it, or what you did with the oil filter housing?

Ford parts said that will work?

pistons are steel vs aluminum on your old motor

Not a drop in replacement right….pretty long list of if this….then that.

im surprised you could not get a drop in plug and play motor.

Hey, if one can drop a V8 into a Chevy Vega, then why not a 2020 into a 2012?
