03 How to remove dash drink holder??
Mt 03 has the pull out dash drink holder and ash tray. How can you remove it for cleaning? I removed the 2 screws at the sides and that did nothing. Want to pull it out and soak it to get 20 years of dirt off of it.

I'm pretty sure (but don't quote me on this) but I think there's a couple little clips you can depress that allow it to be pulled out without removing the entire unit? Because I upgraded my '99 to a newer style years ago, and it seems like I didn't have to pull the dash apart or anything to do the swap.

This is a case of 2 correct answers, thanks!
I pulled the panel with the hook off and removed the 2 inner screws. Once I had it all out I could see there are 2 release tabs at the top and the plastic will slide out if you can push the release tabs down.

That's what I thought. But then again it's been YEARS since I did the swap - I got rid of that truck back in 2011, and I'd done the swap a few years before that.
