96 f150 violent shake in 2nd
Buddy has a 96 f150 auto, says his son had the trans rebuilt. But noticed a wobble in the front end. Checked the front end and everything and seemed fine. I drove it and noticed it wasn’t shifting out of first at all. So he drove it and in first it’ll be at 3k and still not shift. If you double tap the pedal it’ll shift into 2nd but it’ll be extremely violent and bounce all over the road rough as ever, and it doesn’t stop until the truck comes to a complete stop. Just a rinse and repeat of this anytime it goes to 2nd

Sounds like a multitude of issues.
Who did trans work and what was done?
4x4? Lifted? Tires?
Drive correct before trans? Was the original trans reman'd or shop toss in some high turn over shelf unit?
