2023 superduty radio removal
I've searched online and YouTube for info on this. I'm trying to access the back of my radio. Does anyone have a link or into on how the dash comes apart. I had a 2019 and a 2020 SD and know how those come apart, but this new dash is different.
Also any input on speaker wire colors on back of radio. On the 2020 it was the colors below. Anyone know if they've changed?
Left Rear Speaker (+/-) White/Green - Brown/Yellow +,
Radio, black 24 pin plug, pins 21 - 9
Right Rear Speaker (+/-) Brown/White - Brown/Blue +,-
Radio, black 24 pin plug, pins 24- 12

I suggest getting ahold of Crutchfeild and see if you can’t buy their instructions. https://www.crutchfield.com/S-FQCg9R...tructions.html What is it you’re wanting to do ?

Im trying to get the rear speaker wire colors to tap into for my amplifier to add a subwoofer to the truck.

After an hour of digging into the dash I finally got the radio module out from behind the screen. The wire colors didn't match anything I had found online or paid for thru Crutchfeild. So I put the dash back together and just pulled the rear door panels. It was honestly the easiest option looking back. 3 screws I believe and the panel is off. I do have pictures of the wire colors. They change at the plug in the pillar for some reason. I'll get the pictures and post back here.

Hey sorry for the delay in this.
I pulled the plastic off of the B pillar down behind where the seat belt hangs. When you pull that piece you can see the bundle of wires and also see where they penetrate the b pillar.
My wires did change when it passed thru the door jam on the drivers side only. When they pass thru they are a twisted pair of wires. If memory serves me right it's the only pair of twisted wires in the bundle.
This is drivers side at the speaker
Drivers side inside the cab
Passenger rear at speaker
The plug where it goes thru the pillar. On the passenger side the wires didn't change color for whatever reason?

Hope this is helpful!

These are some pictures from my install. Kicker 1200w amp from a past build and a CT sounds 8" Meso subwoofer.
This thing absolutely slams for an 8" woofer. I wish I had room for another one!
Took out the jack from behind the seat and used those two bolts to bold my Amp mount. I can unbolt and pull the amp and wires up to tune or adjust.
