cooling fans run excessively
feel like my cooling fans have always run too often the years i've owned the truck in sig. even a cold start on a 28 degree morning like today, it's running after just a few moments; not on high, but that it's running at all seems strange. is this common on these?
I posted this elsewhere awhile back and some mentioned it could be a faulty coolant temp sensor, but most of what i find indicates the fans would be running on high if that were the case. thoughts?

Are you the original owner of the truck? Do you know if it has a Ford thermostat in it. I was having a similar issue as yours. My truck, also a 5 liter, had an aftermarket thermostat in it. When I replaced the thermostat, all of the issues went away.
