Hey guys! I wanted to see who might be interested in a hot rod gauge cluster for the 48-50 trucks. I’m going to build a custom cluster for myself and wanted to see if there was anyone else interested. Going to mount 2 85mm gauges to give speed, tach, temp, oil, volt and fuel. Price will be around $300.
Yea the entire cluster. No pics just yet. I’m in the prototyping phase for my own truck and wanted to put out feelers if this was something others would be interested in.

I have a 49 F1 do you know of any one who makes a panel insert for modern gauges?
Thanks
Hi guys! I actually made a prototype for my truck. I need to test fit it. Since feedback was limited, I will set anyone up with the file so they can have their own gauge face plate cut from the material of their choosing.

Here's the compressed files for the cutter. Just expand and you should get a PDF and a DXF. DXF will go to the cutting company and the PDF is for your reference/modification.
I would recommend sendcutsend.com. You can order the cut in a variety of material.
Post some pics if you guys decide to go with my design.
Way back when, I fabbed a "temporary" cluster for my 49. I took the cluster from a ,mid 90's GM van and some black acrylic from the local plastic store and made it all fit the original housing. Total invested price was approx $25.
