I am in the process of doing alot of maintenance on both trucks and can't locate the CCV hose that connects the dog house to the intake tube...is there a place to get another one?
Finly found it...put it in with the parts for the Excursion. Thank you guys, I seem to recall this was a part not available. I located a heater hose in my spare parts I thought might work, but need it for another modification...
Just know that the hose interior see hot gas and oil aerosol which aren't things that play well with standard heater hose. In theory the elastomer would deteriorate but then again people have used heater hose without reporting problems, so unsure if the deterioration is fast or extensive enough to pose a concern.

Or, if you don’t like all that oil vapor being ingested through your entire intake air system and engine, just turn the dog house around and run a piece of 3/4” hose out the back and over the top of the brake booster at the firewall and down behind the wheel well on under the truck at a termination point of your liking. Plug up that hole in your intake pipe with a proper plug and clamp and you’ll have a lot less messy oil residue going through that whole intake system. By the way, I used 3/4” silicone hose. Have yet to see the first drop of oil dripping off of the hose under the truck!
