So this is a wierd one. Had buddy install my turbo I'm so busy, well the ebv stuck closed right after so I unplugged it. Well it seems that it also came unhooked the little rod. So it was fine drove it around for quite awhile but hasn't sounded quite right. Today I get the chance to look at it and it has either been closed or partly closed? Towards the turbo is open correct? Or atleast for me it sounds like it is and my exhaust back pressure stays around 13 14 when I floor it in park. Before it would skyrocket. Hopefully I didn't cook the turbo.i wired it so it seems to be open. Not sure if buddy forgot to hook up the rod or the clip came off. It was dark when I finally got the truck going it was a ordeal. So I just unhooked the ebv sensor in the pedestal there and I thought it fixed my problem but I guess it only did it half way?! Wierd
Yea, so I was driving around with it partly closed or closing at certain times. I could hear what I thought was a boost leak, but couldn't find any. We'll yea with it wired open, I am now building proper boost and sounds way better. I got to test it out tonight in street tune, darn dog ate a bunch of my wife's thc gummies, so had to rush it to the vet half hr away. Truck is like a whole diffrent truck. Now hopefully I didn't damage anything inside the turbo driving it around like that.
