4x4 swap and Dana 60 install

Hello everyone!
I have a 2wd 1993 F250 with a 7.3 IDI, automatic trans. I am slowly going through the process of a 4x4 swap. I recently rebuilt the E4OD trans, and swapped the output shaft so I could mount the transfer case. I still need to install my rebuilt Dana 60, but I need to re-gear it to match my rear axle. The Dana 60 is a ball joint with a 4.10 gear ratio, but I am incapable of deciphering my rear axle tag. I am pretty sure it is a 10.25 rear axle, it has 12 cover bolts. Yukon makes ring and pinion kits for the 10.25, but the closest is a 4.11 ratio. My question is, would it be easier to re-gear my rear axle? Where would you guys buy the new gears? Also, what gear oil should I run in them? Thanks in advance for your time!

Rear axle, is this a 10.25?

Way too short, but not for long...

I can't read the tag, so I don't know what's in your rear axle. But it's not that hard to figure it out either. Turn a wheel and count revolutions. If you don't have a limited slip just jack up one tire and count the driveshaft revs as you turn that tire 2 full revs. If you do have a limited slip then jack up both back tires and count driveshaft revs as you turn a tire 1 revolution. If you get a little over 4 revs you have 410/4.11. About 3 1/2 turns is 3.54/3.55. Those are the most likely, but if you get something else then figure out what available ratio you actually have.

If you have 4.10 in the front and 4.11 in the back you're fine. The tire diameters will be off by about the same amount anyway.

If you have something like 3.55 in the rear, then you do need to regear something. Which one? Which ratio do you want? If you've liked what you have in the rear, then regear the front. If you think you need lower gears, or if you are planning on going with bigger tires, then regear the rear.

rear tag to me looks like 4.10. just can not see if it is open or limited slip.
and your truck came from factory with a sterling 10.25.

I believe there is a website called Fordification that you can use for axle tag identification.
