Gentlemen, my latest endeavor is a '65 Econoline pickup with a 200. In the past I have replaced all my older fords with Duraspark ignitions. But when I bought this one, I ordered the parts , installed them and couldn't make it run, so I pulled it all back out and put a '71 point distributor in it to get it running. I never went back to figure out what component was the issue, just continued with the point dist. for the last 2 years. However in the lst 2 years I have replaced 4 condensers, the last one a few days ago. So I'm wondering what you guys would suggest for an ignition system. eec, pertronix,points????
