P0171 & upcoming emission test
I've been trying to fix the bank 1 too lean code (P0171) for some time, replaced literally every vacuum hose/evap line I could find & added clamps just to be sure.
Even the impossible to reach headaches betwen the firewall. Still too lean.
At one point there was a despite a new cap, gas cap evap code, replaced that & hasn't shown again.
Occasionally there's one showing lack of an hcat & a o2 sensor fault but they haven't reemerged.
Could this all be the fault of a slight leak on cyl 2's exhaust port?
Looks to have blown out the upper right corner of the gasket on the manifold by the white marks. Not much different from when I got the truck, it didn't seem to be inducing a lean state on that bank at the time & passed emissions.
Anything else aside from what I mentioned that could be the culprit?
Been going insane trying to remedy this between all the other major/minor repairs but now that the notice came in the mail, the pressure is on to clear that code or no registration renewal & fines comes rolling in.
Even a temp fix would cut it, if those are possible with obd2.
