Yes, it's a good deal. If you can find some it's worth getting a couple buckets. It's been going on for month or 2 now. All the stores around me are sold out. It's been posted a few times on here.
I have used nothing but Rotella T6 in my old 99 since I bought her almost 300K miles ago in 2006. I switched to synthetic for all of our engines here long ago. Both cars, the truck and tractor and the boat. Have had 0 issues with engine wear and even sent oils samples in at 7500 miles on an oil change and was told results show still good.
Tractor Supply....I am going for feed this week. I may have to take a look and grab a big pail. Normally I am used to paying $100 for 4 single gallons. At nearly half price, I am gonna take the trailer with me!

You can look online and see which stores have it in stock around you and how many. The stores around me sold out in about a week.
I switch for a bit from delo 15w40 to a 10w40 t6 and did not notice any difference other than a bit more oil usage.. switched back to TS 15w40 and good to go for less.. 2.5 gallon for like 28 -32 bucks is good price. I change 5K and run a bypass filter as well on oil and when my CAT SOS oil analysis come back i get NO soot in oil numbers.

Can I extend the oil change with the T5, or just keep doing it at 5k?
Every 7.3L behaves differently at this point. Your best bet is to perform a couple of UOA's and make an informed decision instead of listening to a bunch of crazies like us.
